VDB at Rotterdam 2025

VDB is thrilled to be participating in the International Film Festival Rotterdam for its 54th edition, January 30 – February 9, 2025. VDB Director Tom Colley will be in attendance.

IFFR and VDB will present Crystal Z Campbell's CURRENCY (2019) in the program DINAMO: Embodiment (January 31 and February 2) and Martine Syms' Slip (2021) in the program DINAMO: Disembodiment (February 1 and 3). Cathy Lee Crane's white city (1994) will also be included in DINAMO: Embodiment section. International distributors of video art and experimental film from the DINAMO network have submitted titles from their collections in response to themes of body language, body art, and the body in all of its forms, as well as physical and virtual realities, real vs. artificial intelligence, body dysphoria, ghosts and empty space. 

Additionally, VDB artist Marie Losier (Barking in the Dark, 2025) will be featured in the Short & Mid-length section of the festival under the Eyes & Ears program which screens February 1 and 3.
