Radical Closure, Akram Zaatari [VDB Artist's Monograph]

The artist's monograph Radical Closure features artist biographies, program and title descriptions, an additional list of recommended titles, and a curatorial essay by video artist Akram Zaatari that centers on themes of political conflict and territorial confinement.

This 39-page monograph was published in 2010 as part of the DVD box set Radical Closure, originally curated by Akram Zaatari for the International Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, and produced  as a box set by the Video Data Bank. We are pleased to offer the accompanying monograph independently to help further facilitate scholarship on this important program.
